JO MACLENNAN

Jo is co-Founder and Director of MacLennan Norman.  She is a seasoned organisational development specialist and change practitioner with a strong track record as a strategic advisor to boards and leadership teams across private, public, and not-for-profit sectors. As a ‘people expert,’ Jo has a unique ability to help organisations unlock their potential, leverage their strengths, and drive performance through focused cultural and leadership transformation.

Her diverse expertise includes mediation, executive coaching, board performance evaluation, psychometric testing, and executive search. Jo has worked extensively across the UK, driven by her passion for fostering cultural change, purpose-driven leadership, and innovation.

Jo has a dynamic ability to flex across assignments including: Coaching C Suite level executives, facilitating the re-design of complex organisational restructures and leading independent board performance practitioner reviews.

Jo has a deep understanding of Non-Executive Director (NED) life. Having sat on a number of different Boards and been involved in the appointment of a diverse range of NED roles, she understands the professional characteristics require to achieve success including cultural fit. She considers it a privilege to ensure that businesses maintain strong governance processes and operate with the necessary levels of scrutiny and diligence, supporting sustainable growth and accountability.
